When COVID kept us home, we thought it would be a good idea to tackle the interior of our house. We love wood, so we have wooden floors, wooden ceilings, and lots of wood on the walls. The wooden floors really needed a new coat of varnish. But how do you tackle this? Quite by chance, we came across a post from Manulle on Facebook, and that's how we found her. She came over and immediately had a solution for our floor. She preferred to leave the sanding and varnishing to a professional, whom she immediately contacted for us. We were going to tackle the other painting work ourselves, and we needed some good advice for that.
Manuelle was incredibly thorough. She saw what was already there and what she needed to consider, she listened to our tastes, and based her advice on that. The colors she suggested were surprising. If we had done our own research, we would never have thought of those color combinations.
But we're so happy with the result. Everyone who visits is enthusiastic. We feel like we're living in a new house, a harmonious whole.
Her advice went beyond just the color. We also received support in choosing the paint and application materials. For our preferred wallpaper, she suggested an alternative that was washable, stronger, and even cheaper, since we have a four-legged friend. She took so many things into account, things we hadn't: atmosphere, lighting, furniture...
Manuelle was there for us during the construction. No phone call was too much for her. She even helped us choose a new sofa afterward. We got to know her as a driven woman with a heart in the right place. She was truly our rock and our confidante. We felt an immediate connection. We're fans.

"Tijdens de coronaperiode hadden we plots tijd over en konden we nergens heen. Het ideale moment om de binnenkant van onze woning aan te pakken. Ik kende Manuelle en ze leek de geschikte persoon om ons hierin te begeleiden. En dat is ook zo gebleken.
Manuelle kwam langs en observeerde. Ze stelde heel veel vragen, polste naar onze smaak en luisterde naar ons verhaal. Ze leerde ons stapje voor stapje kennen. Geen enkel detail ontging haar: vloerbekleding, schilderijen aan de muur, lichtinval, decoratieve elementen …
We vroegen om kleuradvies, maar ze gaf ons meer, veel meer. Resultaat: een kleuradvies waar we heel waarschijnlijk zelf nooit hadden aan gedacht.
De gelijkvloerse verdieping werd een harmonieus geheel. Zelfs onze keuken die wat gedateerd was, maar die nog veel te goed was om te vervangen, kreeg een remake. Wat een verschil. We hebben nu een volledig nieuwe eigentijdse keuken enkel door de kasten in een andere tint te zetten. Iedereen die op bezoek komt zegt ‘Waauw’.
Schilderservaring hadden we niet, maar we wilden het toch proberen. Manuelle steunde ons, ze was er voor ons en gaf heel wat tips om het aan te pakken. We wisten perfect welke verf we waar moesten gebruiken en waar we moesten op letten.
Wat we enorm apprecieerden, waren de extra inzichten die we kregen. Ze stelde voor om enkele schilderijen van plaats te veranderen en kasten te verplaatsen. De ruimte voelde onmiddellijk anders aan. Waren we heel zeker nooit zelf op gekomen.
Wij zijn blij dat we onze herinrichting niet zelf hebben aangepakt. Een frisse kijk van een buitenstaander doet wonderen. Ons huis is helemaal gerestyled op een manier die we nooit zelf hadden kunnen bedenken. Het resultaat is prachtig.
Onlangs pakten we ook de raambekleding aan en kozen we opnieuw voor Manuelle. Met de juiste gordijnen is het plaatje nu echt compleet. Het lijkt wel alsof we in een nieuw huis wonen. Nog een klein detail om aan te tonen hoe nauwgezet Manuelle te werk gaat. Voor de nieuwe kleur van onze slaapkamer vroeg Manuelle naar de kleur en design van onze dekbedovertrekken.

Manuelle doesn't sell what she likes, but what the customer feels comfortable with. She sells color, ambiance, and advice first, and paint and window treatments second. We did the painting ourselves afterward, and we could rely on her for tips on the execution.
It was a pleasant and very successful collaboration.
